Charles H. E. Shelton
Managing Director

Charles Shelton is the Managing Director of QIW which provides the design, installation, and maintenance of automatic watering systems. After an introduction to the business in 1983 Charles worked with Alan Austin at QIW on the installation of Golf Course systems in the South of England. Having developed his experience in the automatic watering industry, he embarked on an international business career until reaching senior executive level. Then, in 1999, he returned to the UK to work once more with Alan Austin. Here, Alan and Charles forged a close working relationship designing and installing a wide variety of systems in many sectors of the Industry. In response to high demand, Charles and Alan decided to create a new forward-facing company that would raise the profile of the Quality Irrigation brand; with Charles as managing director and Alan as technical director, QIW was born in 2008.
